The Roselle Public Library District has joined the DuPage Narcan Program as a public access location for free boxes of naloxone, commonly known as Narcan, a life-saving nasal spray that reverses an opioid overdose. These doses are available to be picked up from the cabinet located on the first floor of the Library, near our public computers and study rooms.

The DuPage Narcan Program aims to save lives by increasing access to naloxone. The Program also trains and educates first responders, community members, and organizations on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. Since its inception in 2013, the DuPage Narcan Program has recorded over 1,400 overdose reversals.

Residents are welcome to take a box for your home, car, or bag to save a life in case of an opioid overdose.
