Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Roselle Public Library is a charitable organization dedicated to raising funds to support the Library's programs and service.
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every other month in the Library at 6:00 pm. For exact dates, see the Calendar of Events or reach out to the Friends at the contact information below.
Activities
The Friends' primary activities are the semi-annual used books sales and other fundraising events. With the proceeds they raise, the Friends donate to the Library throughout the year. Some of the most recent programs and projects sponsored by the Friends of the Library include:
- Summer Reading Program
- Bingo Nights
- Story Walk Installation @ Clauss Recreation Center
Other support from the Friends comes in the form of volunteering: during special events such as the annual Rose Parade, and on a regular basis sorting through donated books and movies dropped off at the Library, and more.
How to Become a Friend
Membership is free and all are welcome. Any interested new Friends may attend a regular meeting, inquire at the Library, or contact the Friends of the Library by email.
