To ensure safety by limiting the spread of the coronavirus, we recommend that all patrons (including fully vaccinated individuals) wear masks and maintain proper social distancing during their visit to the Library. Only non-vaccinated individuals, including children between the ages of 3 and 11 years, will be required to wear face masks that adequately cover the nose and mouth at all times while making use of Library facilities and services. Patrons under the age of two (2), while not required to wear a mask, should still be closely monitored by their parent/guardian/caregiver at all times while in the Library.Additionally, capacity restrictions and limitations on the length of visits that were adopted during the height of the pandemic will be eliminated.
- Also beginning today, individual study rooms will become available for single individuals to use.
- Beginning Monday, June 14, groups may reserve Community Rooms A & B at full capacity. Distancing is encouraged, however not required in these locales. The masks policy described above will also be in effect for these rooms.
- Group study rooms will become available for groups to reserve in early July.
We hope that these relaxations of restrictions and expansion of services provide convenience and a sense of normalcy. Safety for all individuals continues to be our top priority.
