To ensure safety by limiting the spread of the coronavirus, all patrons are required to wear masks and maintain proper social distancing during their visit to the Library. We ask that anyone visiting the Library limit their time spent in the building to under 1 hour. Whenever possible, please use the self-checkouts. Curbside pickup is still available for anyone who would like to reserve materials online.
Appointments are required for use of public computers. We require that computer use, like your visit to the Library, be limited to one hour sessions. Appointments are also required for in-person Notary Public service. We are also offering Virtual Notary Public service during the pandemic. Request and schedule a one hour appointment during Library operating hours by emailing email@example.com, or use the Chat icon on the lower right corner of this screen. To schedule a time by phone, contact Adult & Teen Services at 630-529-1641, ext. 211 , or Youth Services at 630-529-1641, ext. 351 .
The Roselle Public Library is happy to continue to provide in-person service and we attempt to provide access to all within the community of Roselle. We will continue to follow recommendations from the State of Illinois, the Illinois Department of Health, the DuPage County Department of Health, and the Cook County Department of Public Health. All advised procedures to protect the health and safety of patrons and staff will be adhered to.
The Roselle Public Library District will continue to monitor the progression of the COVID-19 pandemic within DuPage County and Region 8. Adjustment in hours of operation may be a necessity. Please refer back to our website or social media channels for future postings. The Library continues to exercise safe practices regarding the distribution of materials. Remain assured that all materials returned will be quarantined for up to seven days before staff processes them. Also, know that any materials on shelves or being picked up from holds you have placed have been quarantined to ensure your safety.
