We continue to ask all patrons to limit visits to the Roselle Public Library to an hour or less. You may limit your time spent within the Library by placing holds in advance of your visit to the Library. Place a hold using the online catalog, or feel free to email the Library at email@example.com, call us at 630-529-1641, or contact us through our online chat option (icon located on the bottom right corner of the RPLD website) during operating hours. Feel free to make use of the Library's Curbside Pickup if you are simply picking up materials you have placed on hold.
Please exercise safe practices while visiting the Library. Masks are required within the Library, as well as maintaining a safe distance of six feet between yourself and any other individual. We ask that the first hour of every day be reserved for seniors and any other at-risk patrons. Please plan your visit after 11:00 a.m. on weekdays and after 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays if you are not an at-risk individual.
Appointments are required for use of public computers. We require that computer use, like your visit to the Library, be limited to one hour sessions. Appointments are also required for in-person Notary Public service. We are also offering Virtual Notary Public service during the pandemic.
The Roselle Public Library continues to exercise safe practices regarding the distribution of materials. Remain assured that all materials returned will be quarantined for up to seven days before staff processes them. Know that overdue fines will not be imposed for returned materials that have not yet been processed due to the mandatory quarantine. Also, know that any materials on shelves or being picked up from holds you have placed have been quarantined to ensure your safety.
