The Foundation was created to ensure that the Library is able to fulfill the needs of our growing community. The Foundation's objective is to enrich the excellent programs, services and facilities of the Library to meet the challenges of tomorrow. To this end, the Foundation solicits donations, grants, bequests of cash and property, and also seeks individuals willing to volunteer their time and services to the Library.
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and all contributions are tax deductible. No gift is too small. Contributions of $100 or more are acknowledged with a donor plate on the plaque at the Tree of Knowledge in the Library's first floor reading area:
- $100 to $999 - Silver Leaf
- $1,000 or more - Gold Leaf
The Foundation appreciates the generous support of its donors and may publish donor recognition lists in its annual reports, publications, lobby message board and/or this webpage. If you would like to remain anonymous in these recognitions, please notify the Foundation at the time of donating to omit your name.
Recent donations to the Library by the Foundation have supported the following projects:
- LED Pendant Lighting Installation 2018
- Roof Repair Project 2017
