The Friends of the Roselle Public Library is a charitable organization dedicated to raising funds to support the Library's programs and service.
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every other month in the Library at 6:00 pm. For exact dates, see the Calendar of Events or reach out to the Friends at the contact information below.
Activities
The Friends' primary activities are the semi-annual used books sales and an annual fundraising dinner. Between these three annual events, the Friends raise thousands of dollars, which they then donate to the Library throughout the year. Some of the most recent programs sponsored by the Friends of the Library include:
- Grandparents Got Game!
- Competitive Chess Tournaments
- On the Same Page 2019
- Celebrate the Season 2019
Other support from the Friends comes in the form of volunteering: during special events such as Musical Sunday concerts, on a regular basis sorting through donated books and movies dropped off at the Library, and more.
How to Become a FriendMembership is free and all are welcome. Any interested new Friends may attend a regular meeting, inquire at the Library, or contact the Friends of the Library by email.
